Father of Dunsing's Children Says This is Impossible, Literally
Dunsing is a mother herself, and the father of their children (who asked to remain anonymous) told reporters that these accusations are impossible. He says so because, during the period of time in which she was accused, she did not have an address and was homeless with him. He had been recovering from a stroke during this homeless period and says that she was with him every day. He is quoted as saying:"I dispute that because in November and December, we were homeless and she was on the streets with me. I was in and out of the hospital with strokes, so I know she was there with me." - Husband of Dunsing
She May Not Have Known He Was a Minor
According to more records and her children, Dunsing had no way of knowing, for sure, whether the boy was underage or not. Her husband said that Dunsing had introduced the boy to the family in the past, and:"Everybody asked for ID because we figured he looked kind of young. He pulled out an ID that said he was over the age of 21, and it says 'state of Florida' on it. How do they let someone like that slip through the system that legitimately says 'over the age of 21?'" - Father of Dunsing's Children
Dunsing's friends seem to agree with the father of her children. They say that the adult sites she is a member of have age restrictions in place and require members to register as adults. However, Dunsing's prior record may be influencing the outcome of her case. She has been arrested 14 times and 2 of those convictions were for fraud and prostitution. Either way, she is booked into the Duval County jail and held on a $50,000 bond.
