The teacher has since been identified as 40-year-old Jason Osborne, who was in a relationship with a 14-year-old student over a social media app. He had been communicating with the student online for quite some time.
Police discovered through messages that the two had an established romantic relationship and the two met in person on one occasion. Osborne was arrested today, November 14. He has been charged with a felony for offenses against students by authority figures.
