Lake Worth, FL (January 4, 2018) – On Wednesday night this week, a woman attacked her parents after becoming upset with them when they denied taking her to Outback Steakhouse.
28-year-old Deana Seltzer asked her mother to go to the restaurant in Lake Worth and her mother told her no. Seltzer then became enraged and began to punch her mother in the chest and arms. Seltzer’s father intervened but, in doing so, received multiple scratches to his face and body.
According to the police report, Deana went around flipping recliners and tearing up random furniture in a fit of rage. She also charged at her father with a decorative knife that was hanging on the wall, telling him that she was going to kill him.
Seltzer received charges of simple domestic battery and battery of a person 65 or older. As of now, Seltzer is in prison but will be ordered to undergo a mental health assessment when she is released.
