Wildwood Police arrested the suspect around 10 p.m. last night, November 13, after they received calls that a driver had been driving erratically on Powell Road. The driver was quickly identified as 48-year-old Dianna Lynn Spurrier. As Spurrier was reaching over for her paperwork to give to the officer, the arresting officer noticed a cup in plain view that smelled like wine.
Spurrier, who is just 95 pounds, was asked how much she had been drinking. She confessed to police that she had been drinking at the rodeo. She failed the field sobriety tests that were given to her and refused to provide a breath sample.
Now, Spurrier is facing DUI charges in relation to the incident.
