David Dixon

I served over 20 years in the US military. I served in the US Air Force and US Army Reserve as a military policeman. I am a disabled veteran as well. As an attorney, I had the privilege to serve Volusia County as a former assistant public defender and briefly as a former assistant state attorney.

In 2019, while an assistant attorney general, I had the privilege to be a part of the Florida Attorney Generals Military Veterans Assistance Program. Which aided Florida's veterans, reservists, and active-duty service members against fraud, scams, and unfair business practices. I cherished my time as a former assistant attorney general.

I have been married for 23 years to my lovely wife Serap Dixon and we raised two beautiful daughters. My faith, family, friends, and country are especially important to me. When it comes to the law, I believe "...act justly, love to show mercy, and walk humbly with your God.." Micah 6:8
