Thomas McGuire

Thomas McGuire is an accomplished litigator in the criminal arena and has tried hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases to a jury verdict. Tom received his BA from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and his law degree from Widener School of law Wilmington.

Tom’s litigation skills were first developed in the civil arena as co-counsel on week long products liability and medical malpractice jury trials. Then in the 1990’s, Tom became a prosecutor in Southern New Jersey and prosecuted major cocaine seizures along a strip of highway which became known as “cocaine alley.”

After 10 years of practice, Tom moved to Pensacola, Florida where he and his wife raised three children. While in the public defender’s office, Tom tried murder, sexual battery, and white-collar crime cases to a jury verdict. Tom likes to say he is “battle hardened’ when it comes to the criminal courtroom. During his 35 years of legal practice, Tom has developed a reputation of fighting for his clients as if they were family.
